Trailer: Harshvardhan, Saiyami’s ‘Mirzya’ is intense visual treat


The much-awaited trailer of Harshvardhan Kapoor and Saiyami Kher’s epic love saga ‘Mirzya’ is out. From the look of it, the movie would be a cinematic treat with picturesque locations and soulful music.

Anil Kapoor’s son Harshvardhan and Tanvi Azmi’s niece Saiyami are making their Bollywood debut with the Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra film which is said to be based on the folklore of ‘The legend of Mirza-Sahiban’.  

In the three-and-half-minute trailer, Saiyami is seen speaking about her childhood friend and she doesn’t know the whereabouts of him now when they have grown up. The trailer clearly defines the two timelines on which the passionate love story spans. It opens with the modern setting in Rajasthan and then opens in the scenic locales of Ladakh. In both the settings, Harshvardhan is seen with horses – as a warrior in one and as working in a ranch in the modern setting.

The trailer also provides glimpse of the intense chemistry between the lead actors. The star kids also share a passionate liplock. There is also thrilling action sequences. A piercing song in Daler Mehndi’s vocals plays in the background.

‘Mirzya’ has been penned by renowned poet and lyricist Gulzar, while the trio of Shankar Ehsaan Loy has composed the music for the film.

The action-romance film is set to hit screens on October 7.
