Saif Ali Khan unhappy with daughter Sara Ali Khan

Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s pretty daughter Sara Ali Khan is gearing up for her big Bollywood debut opposite Sushant Singh Rajput in Abhishek Kapoor’s ‘Kedarnath’. However, papa Saif doesn’t seem to be much happy with Sara’s decision to enter Bollywood.

Like all parents, Saif is worried for his daughter’s career and feels that she could have chosen a more stable profession. During an interview with DNA, the ‘Rangoon’ actor opened up on his thoughts about Sara’s film debut.

Talking about how he feels about Sara’s debut, Saif said, “A little nervous. Fear is the most driving factor in the industry. Why would she want that for herself? Look at where she studied. After having done that, why wouldn’t she want to live and work in New York, rather than do this?”

Saif justified his concern and added, “I am not looking down on acting, it’s just that it is not the most stable profession… And everyone lives in constant fear… And there is no guarantee that despite doing your best, you will succeed. This is not the life any parent would want for their children.”

The actor also revealed that he was not involved in Sara’s decision to debut opposite Sushant in ‘Kedarnath’, but he will always be there to give her advice. “…I am there if she needs to ask or talk to me about anything. I know what she is doing and we talk about films just like we do about everything else.”

Saif is indeed a doting father, concerned for the wellbeing of his children, however, despite his worries, Sara has already made her decision. After all, she has grown up amidst successful actors including parents Saif and Amrita, grand-mom Sharmila Tagore and step-mom Kareena Kapoor.
