Prem Chopra throws party for son-in-law Sharman
Sharman Joshi has tasted his first solo success with recent release ‘Ferrari Ki Sawari’. The film had a slow start but gradually it caught pace and in the first weekend earned around Rs 15 crore. Veteran actor Prem Chopra is highly impressed with his son-in-law Sharman Joshi’s first solo hit and to mark his success, the actor has decided to throw a grand bash.
Joshi informs that his father-in-law is throwing a party on Wednesday to celebrate his success. "He is very delighted and very happy. In fact, he is throwing a party for me tomorrow for the success of my film," said Sharman who married Prem Chopra’s daughter Prerna.
The film speaks about a father-son relationship and how a father works towards fulfilling his son's dream to play cricket at Lords in London. It is a simple and touching story by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and director Rajesh Mapuskar. Apart from Sharman, the film also stars Boman Irani and child artist Ritvik Sahore.
"There was no pressure on me, I enjoy my work. I believe in good quality cinema and I am extremely humbled with the audience reaction," said Sharman who has a daughter and twin sons.
"I have seen the film twice. I also saw it during the premiere. It's a beautiful film. I am very happy for Sharman," said Chopra.
Overjoyed Prem Chopra personally invited his friends and
family. Film personalities like Amitabh Bachchan, Salim Khan, Jeetendra, Aamir
Khan, Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Vidhu Vinod Chopra amongst others are
expected to attend the party.
