Hillary vs Trump: Bollywood stars’ opinion on US Presidential Debate
US presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump had a bitter clash on in the first Presidential Debate. It was one of the most watched debate on television with up to 100 million viewers.
The debated has got the social media excited and even Bollywood celebrities shared their opinions about the heated discussion.
Priety Zinta, who is married to American professional Gene Goodenough, tweeted, “Exciting to watch Hillary & Trump tonight on the first #uspresidentialelection2016 debate.” She also shared a funny meme which has the Republican Donald Trump spewing fire at his rival, while Hillary Clinton attacks him with blaze in her eyes.
Veteran actor said that he was glued to the television as the debate unfolded at Hofstra University, New York and wanted to hear ‘sensible talk’. “Hofstra. Watching the Presidential Debate on CNN. No screaming please just sensible talk!” the ‘Kapoor & Sons’ actor tweeted with a picture of the two nominees in a face-off.
Television personality and filmmaker Kabir Khan’s wife Mini Mathur also expressed her opinion about Donald Trump’s speech, and tweeted, “Love how Trump refers to third world countries like they should be gased off the planet #PresidentialDebate.”
Actor Ranvir Shorey expressed his doubts over the candidates and wrote, “I doubt the world's going to be a better place if these are the choices for "Leader of the Free World". #USPresidentialDebate.”
The next Presidential Debate is scheduled in October. American journalist Lester Holt was the moderator of the debate.
