‘Ferrari Ki Sawari’ scores high at the box-office

Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s new release ‘Ferrari Ki Sawari’ yet again proved that it is content that drives the film and not the star power. Opened with mixed reviews and poor box-office opening, the film is slowly climbing the popularity chart and scoring high at the box-office.

Sharman Joshi’s first solo film was liked by the audience. The simple content lured the people and film has fared quite well at the box-office. On Friday, the movie had a slow start with only 30-40% collection. But business picked up over the weekend and it made a sum of around Rs 13 crore in the first weekend.

The film is in race with some big films like Rowdy Rathore and Sanghai released last week but still it has been able to make an impact. The film is riding high on the popularity chart and audience begun to like it.

Directed by Rajesh Mapuskar, ‘Ferrari Ki Sawari’ starring Sharman Joshi, Boman Irani and Ritvik Sahore speaks about making dream into reality. The story speaks about an unconditional love between a father and a son and how a father works towards fulfilling his son's dream. It is a simple story without glitz and glamor.
