Actor Sonu Sood unveils his wax statue in Lonavla

Actor Sonu Sood has unveiled his life size wax model at the Sunil’s Celebrity Wax Museum in Lonavla in Pune district of Maharashtra. The wax statue was uncovered by Minister of State for Home (Urban) Deepak Kesarkar.

Interestingly, Sonu was dressed like his wax replica wearing a royal blue t-shirt, denims and sporting blue glasses. It took around three months for sculptor Sunil Kandalloor to make the wax statue of the ‘Dabangg’ actor.

Sunil Kandalloor, who is also the Managing Director of the museum, was all praise for the actor and said, “Sonu Sood is one of the most experienced and self-made actor who acts in Hindi, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu movies.”

Kandalloor opened the wax museum in 2010, which houses 100 wax models of national and international personalities. His museum has become a tourist attraction. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s wax replica is also among wax models of celebrities.

Sonu will be next seen in trilingual film ‘Tutak Tutak Tutiya’, which is also his debut production. The movie, titled ‘Devi’ in Tamil and ‘Abhinetri’ in Telugu, also stars Prabhu Deva and Tamannah Bhati, apart from Murali Sharma and Amy Jackson in a guest appearance. The Hindi version has guest appearance by Farah Khan and Esha Gupta as well. Directed by A. L. Vijay, the movie is set to release on October 7.
